    Allied Health Program - Pharmacy

    The cooperative program between Saint Vincent College and Duquesne University School of Pharmacy is a six-year doctorate program leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. To practice pharmacy, students must pass a state licensure examination. Duquesne University requires that all students who wish to transfer into their program complete the PCAT exam, and interview as part of the application process.

    In addition to the above requirements, all students that apply to Duquesne’s Pharmacy school after the fall of 2007 will be required to submit
    scores for the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT). An interview will also be required for Admission.

    • Completion of High School Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Pre-Calculus. 
    • A Minimum of 1100 SAT score (Math & verbal reasoning).
