Challenge Program
The Challenge Program at Saint Vincent College is an academic and theme based camp for participants from rising third grade through twelfth grade. The program has three separate strands to meet the needs of all students. Programs are offered for two weeks each summer.
Day Camp: For rising third and fourth graders meets on Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00am- 4:00pm. It is a full day of academically theme based fun and challenges. Participants move through hands on academically based explorations, physical games and challenges, and artistic or entertainment based activities. Lunch and snack is provided.
Challenge Theme Program: For rising sixth through eleventh grade students. A sleep away, theme based, academically challenging, and super entertaining program from Sunday through Friday. Participants register for and attend three courses of their choosing, participate in an ever-changing activity period daily, and enjoy planned entertainment every evening.
Pre-College Experience: For rising eleventh through graduating seniors this program provides an opportunity for a pre-college level experience. Students choose strand of study and earn 4 college credits in two weeks. The program runs from Sunday through Friday during two consecutive weeks, with the possibility of staying through the weekend made available. Students attend class, have study time, enjoy the campus facilities, and participate in planned entertainment.
*Rising juniors may choose between the Challenge Theme Program or the Pre-College Experience.
