Dr. Michael Urick, assistant professor of management at Saint Vincent College Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government, director of the Saint Vincent College master of science in management: Operational Excellence program, and vice president of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM)-Pittsburgh, recently presented "Generational Differences in the Workplace: The Realities and Ways to Address Them" with James Baehr, group lead of Strategic Sourcing LLC and president of ISM-Pittsburgh, at the ISM international conference in Orlando, Florida.
The session was chaired by executives from Google and Apple.
The conference's keynote speakers were Colin Powell, retired U.S. General and Secretary of State and David Cameron, former Prime Minister of Great Britain.
Urick recently posted a blog, "Intergenerational Differences in Procurement: Beyond the Label," on the website artofprocurement.com.
