Bob Votruba, founder of One Million Acts of Kindness (www.onemillionactsofkindness.com), visited the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media at Saint Vincent College on Oct. 6 in his “Kindness Bus.” Fred Rogers was a major influence on Votruba’s work and so he met with Emily Uhrin in the Fred Rogers Archive in the morning and with some of the Saint Vincent College students who are Fred Rogers Scholars in the afternoon. One Million Acts of Kindness is a goal for each person to individually perform one million acts of kindness in their lifetime as a way to create a safer, more caring world for everyone.
