Philosophy Department Plans Fall Colloquium Nov. 30

Sr. Mary Veronica Sabelli, R.S.M., assistant professor of philosophy at Saint Vincent Seminary and adjunct professor of philosophy at Saint Vincent College, will be the featured speaker at the annual fall colloquium sponsored by the school of humanities and fine arts and its department of philosophy at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 in the Fred M. Rogers Center on the campus of Saint Vincent College. Her talk is titled, “Follow Your Heart: Mind and Heart in Thomas Aquinas.” Admission is free and open to the public.

 

Sr. Mary formerly taught at St. John’s Seminary, Brighton, Massachusetts, Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Cromwell, Connecticut, Maryvale Institute, Birmingham, UK and St. John’s Seminary, Wonersh, Surrey, UK.

 

She is a member of the American Catholic Philosophical Association and the American Maritain Association.
