Daly now teaches both in the undergraduate curriculum at Saint Vincent and in its master of science in criminology program. She has also worked as a consultant to train teachers in conflict resolution and de-escalation strategies.

Her past and current research examines motivational factors among mass shooters and best practices in school violence prevention.
