SGA Announces Election Winners

Saint Vincent College Student Government Association has released the results of the election held on Friday, April 27.

The election was held so that students could cast a ballot for the positions of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and senators for their respective classes.

The results of the elections are as follows: Matt Mascara of Belle Vernon, senior class president; Aubrey Marquis of Latrobe, senior class vice president; Michael Bethune of Trafford, senior class treasurer; Courtney Kloos of Latrobe, senior class secretary; Taylor Millslagle of Scottdale, Logan Delozier-Varnum of Belle Vernon, Cullen Higgins of Pittsburgh (15238), Sharon Nincke of Ligonier and Renee Tempo of Bovard, senior class senators; Jack Kilkeary of Latrobe, junior class president; Alyssa Turkovich of Bedford, junior class vice president; Taylor Boring of Mineral Point, junior class treasurer; Ashley Krause of Uniontown, junior class secretary; Keely Cain of Hawley, Minnesota, Jordan Joseph of Verona, Megan Miller of New Salem, Delaney Murray of Sharpsville and Dee Rowe of Finleyville, junior class senators; Kyle Watson of Gwynn Oak, Maryland, sophomore class president; Kyle Pope of Martinsburg, West Virginia, sophomore class vice president; Madeline Mutinelli of Greenville, sophomore class treasurer; Taylor Berardi of Altoona, sophomore class secretary; Saagar Patel of Bel Air, Maryland, John McGee of Beaver, Hannah Rudy of Loyalhanna, Lauren Zalich of Latrobe and Danielle Chorba of North Huntingdon, sophomore class senators.

The students will serve until the end of the Spring 2019 semester. The Student Government Association acts as a liaison between the administration and the student body by representing and being attentive to student concerns and interests; improves the quality of life for students by effecting change in regard to policy and campus development and by overseeing student activities, both social and academic; and preserves the College’s commitment to dedicate itself to traditional Benedictine values and a strong liberal arts education.
