SBDC Hosts 'ServSafe - Food Training'

The Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering the program, SERVSAFE®, on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on the campus of Saint Vincent College.

SERVSAFE® is for those looking to start a food business or for those already in the industry. This program will provide reliable food safety training for food service workers as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.  Food safety training has become the industry standard, and SERVSAFE® is one of the American National Standards Institute-approved courses accepted by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.  Testing for the SERVSAFE® Certification will be held the same day.  Fee for this program is $185 and includes all materials, testing, continental breakfast and lunch.   Registration is required by Sept. 6.
