About Rev. Nathan Munsch O.S.B.
Grew up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Contemplative monk for thirteen years at Mt. Saviour Monastery. First encountered the Benedictines while on foreign study in France. Lord of the Rings freak: read the trilogy three times! Once traveled for six months in Europe and the Middle East with a backpack. Pastor of St. Benedict's Parish in Marguerite, PA (2004-2008), revolutionizing my view of Christian life. Likes to bicycle and hike--riding the Youghiogheny River Trail on an Indian Summer day at the height of the fall foliage is the closest thing to heaven!
