Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a seminar – Succession Planning, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 9:30 a.m. to noon on the Saint Vincent College campus. The program is being sponsored by First Commonwealth Bank. It is also being co-sponsored by the Economic Growth Connection, the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce and the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation.
Succession Planning is a vital step in ensuring the future success of a company and is also a process that is often overlooked. This educational program will help guide attendees in making well-informed succession planning decisions for their business.
Presenters for this program are Robert J. Grossman, Partner of Grossman, Yanak & Ford, LLP, and Todd Turin, Esq., of Turin & DeMatt Attorneys at Law. Grossman has nearly 40 years of experience in tax and valuation matters that affect businesses. His expertise in business valuation is well-known, and he is a frequent speaker, regionally and nationally, in tax and valuation matters. Turin has been practicing law for 32 years. He concentrates his practice in estate planning and administration, real estate, corporate law and family law. He serves on the Boards of the Westmoreland Bar Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region and the Greensburg Salem Education Foundation.
The fee for this program is $25 per person and includes continental breakfast. Registration is at 9:30 a.m., and the program begins at 10 a.m.
