Mallory Truckenmiller Saylor, C’19, was hired in 2022 as director of the Saint Vincent College Writing Center, an interdisciplinary resource that helps students become more confident, independent and capable writers.
Saylor earned her MFA in literary translation at the University of Iowa, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow studying Latin American literature and feminist translation. She teaches a variety of writing classes and works as an editor with Eulalia Books, an independent publisher of literary translations housed on the Saint Vincent campus. She enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband and dog, trying new restaurants and playing obscure board games.
