Mark Kachmar brings more 30 years’ experience in global executive leadership roles related to operational excellence and project management.
Kachmar holds two degrees from the University of Pittsburgh: a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and Master’s of Business Administration. He is also certified as a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt. Before joining Saint Vincent full-time as executive in residence, Kachmar was an adjunct instructor for the College for seven years. In 2023, he developed and taught a course in agile project management in the Master’s of Science in Management: Operational Excellence (MSMOE) program. The MSMOE program is ranked among the top half of eligible programs nationwide by U.S. News & World Report. Kachmar taught high school percussion and marching band for 15 years and has played in wedding and club bands.
