by Public Relations | January 07, 2025

LATROBE, PA – Two Saint Vincent College students and two recent graduates are showing their artwork at a coffee shop in downtown Greensburg.

The exhibit at DV8 Expresso Bar and Gallery is featuring works by Hallie Stamm, a junior art education major from Mount Holly Springs; Charlotte Jordan, a junior art education major from Germantown, Maryland; Lauren Turkovich, C’24; and Donovan Baxter, C’24.

Brother Mark Floreanini, O.S.B., C’01, S’04, an associate professor of art in the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, prepared the students for the show. Dr. Dawn Turkovich, C’95, assistant professor of education, coordinated details of the exhibit with DV8 owner Zack Dreskler.

The exhibit will continue through January.

Stamm and Jordan displayed paintings. Stamm began her artistic journey with drawing and now works with a variety of mediums, including acrylics, watercolors and clay. Jordan finds artistic inspiration from her faith and the world around her, and uses biblical stories and metaphors within many of her pieces.

Lauren Turkovich, of Jeannette, displayed pen and ink drawings, digital art, painting, intaglio print making, stained glass and screen print. An art teacher in the Greensburg Salem School District, she triple majored in digital art and media, studio art and business administration at Saint Vincent.

Baxter, of Pitcairn, displayed screen prints. An intern at NFM+Dymun, an advertising firm in Pittsburgh, he double majored in studio art and digital art and media at Saint Vincent.
