How To Give

Mailings

The Saint Vincent College Annual Fund for Students First sends a handful of publications to the College community each year. Update your contact information here to make sure you receive our magazines, postcards, invitations, and more!

Personal Meetings

If you would like to discuss making a gift to the College using Stock, IRA or including Saint Vincent College in your estate plans, a personal meeting with one of our Development Officers is available to help you with your plans. If you have any questions about making a gift, or if you would like to discuss gifts of appreciated stock, real property, IRA distributions, planned giving, or other creative ways of supporting the College, please contact us. One of our knowledgeable staff members will be glad to assist you.

Alumni Referral Program

Share the benefits of a Saint Vincent College education. Refer a current high school student to the Admission Office and receive Bearcat swag if they apply.

If you know a student who could make a great future Bearcat, you can now use our form to refer them to us. We’ll invite them to learn more about Saint Vincent by visiting or meeting with one of our staff members, letting them know you’ve referred them.

  • Current Gifts

Gifts and pledge payments can be made by check or credit card, through the mail, by phone, or by clicking here to make a gift. Pledges may be made over a period of single or multiple years and can be paid annually, quarterly or monthly.

Checks should be payable to Saint Vincent College. Please note any special instructions or designations you might have. All gifts will be receipted by US post.

  • Matching Gifts

With matching gifts you can sometimes double or even triple your gift!

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company matches, you may be able to access the forms directly through the search. And remember, some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

  • Stocks and Securities

Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities enable you to support Saint Vincent, avoid capital gains taxes and earn a charitable tax deduction for the fair market value on the date of the gift.

Please contact Carolyn Walsh, Senior Director of Advancement Services, at carolyn.walsh@stvincent.edu or 724-805-2412 before initiating delivery of any securities.

  • Planned Gifts

Giving has long been a tradition at Saint Vincent College.  Every member of our campus community has, in one way or another, benefited from the generosity of others. Planned gifts offer an opportunity to extend your benevolence beyond your lifetime by making a commitment to the future of SVC. Including Saint Vincent in your long-term financial or estate plan is a big decision that results in a lasting impact on the people and places important to you.

  • Deferred and Estate Gifts

We also welcome estate and other types of deferred gifts, including those that produce income to you for life. For the latest information and tools that will help you as you contemplate your plans, please visit our Planned and Estate Gifts site.
  • Memorials and Tributes

Memorials and tribute gifts are a wonderful way to honor others. Remembering a lost loved one on their birthday, honoring a classmate for a recent achievement, or recognizing a friend who has been helpful to you in a time of need — are all ways to honor those you love while enhancing the learning and teaching opportunities at Saint Vincent.
