International Studies

  • Minor

The primary purpose of the minor in international studies is to give participants a global awareness and broader perspective of the modern world. A secondary purpose is the development of skills in speaking, writing and reading a second language in order to enhance cross-cultural understanding. Sponsored by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, the international studies minor consists of either a concentration for a liberal arts major, or a minor with a language and culture area concentration.
