SPARC
Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course

Saint Vincent provides prevention and awareness programs and ongoing training and education information to students and employees so they may identify what behavior constitutes Prohibited Conduct; understand how to report Prohibited Conduct; and learn about safe and positive options for bystander intervention that may be carried out by an individual to prevent harm or intervene.
As part of these efforts, Saint Vincent College has implemented a new training program called SPARC (Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course).

SPARC is an online training module that educates students about sexual misconduct, ways to prevent it, and the campus’ response to a complaint. The content has been customized to reflect state and federal requirements and Saint Vincent College policies.

*NOTE: All incoming students (first-year and transfers) are required to complete SPARC training.  This online training is in addition to in-person education sessions all first-year students will attend during the fall semester. This training is also available to all students, faculty and staff at Saint Vincent College.
