Unleash Your Passion for Singing

A choir performance featuring a young female singer wearing glasses, surrounded by fellow choir members holding music sheets.

Singing in a choral ensemble is a wonderful way to enrich your life at Saint Vincent College. Whether you are a performer by nature or an avid lover of camaraderie in a group of singers working toward a concert, there is a place for you to sing on campus. Choral opportunities include solo and collaborative concerts each semester and events on and off campus which include the traditional celebrations in our college community.

Ensembles

Saint Vincent Singers

This choir welcomes all students, with no audition required, and brings together a mix of music and non-music majors from across campus to explore both classical and contemporary repertoire. Directed by Laura Knoop Very, each concert showcases a range of languages and musical styles, performed in various venues, including the Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica.

Camerata

This select ensemble is made up of members drawn from both our Saint Vincent campus and local communities. Led by Fr. Stephen Concordia, O.S.B., this esteemed group has been a vibrant part of the artistic community here for over 50 years. Their repertoire includes large- and small-scale works ranging from early sacred music to works of the contemporary canon.
