Overview
Saint Vincent College’s Challenge Program is a STEM-based academic summer program for students from PreK to grade 12 held for one week in June. Saint Vincent College has proudly hosted the Challenge Program since 1982 and is excited to announce the 2025 theme: “Camp Half-Blood.”

Program Dates
- Day Programs: June 16-20 (Preschool, Kindergarten, Grades 1-4)
- Overnight Programs: June 15-20 (Grades 5-12)
Location: All programs are hosted on the Saint Vincent campus. Overnight students stay in Rooney Hall, and meals are provided to all attendees.
Registration
- Early Registration Discount: Until March 15
- Final Registration Deadline: May 31
- Note: Space is limited.

Program Leadership
The program is directed by Dr. Kathleen Beining, assistant professor of education and director of PreK-to-12 education programs at Saint Vincent. All instructors are certified educators who are either alumni or current graduate students of Saint Vincent and all counselors are students in good standing in the SVC Education Department, training to become teachers.
