Discrimination on the basis of sex (“sex discrimination”) under Title IX and this policy refers to any exclusion, denial of benefits, or unequal treatment in educational programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance, based on an individual's sex. This includes a broad spectrum of behaviors and practices. Sex discrimination includes discrimination based on sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Sex discrimination includes sex-based harassment and means sexual harassment and other harassment on the basis of sex.
Collectively, this is referred to as prohibited conduct under the College’s Policy on Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct.
