AHSS Students to Pursue Advanced Degrees

LATROBE, PA – The School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Saint Vincent College has announced that 33 of its students will be continuing their education at institutions across the U.S. following their May 9 graduation from Saint Vincent. 

The students include: 

  • Victoria Badar, a history major from Huntsville, Alabama, who will pursue a master of arts in history at the University of North Alabama.  

  • Geri Ball-Pringle, a psychology major from Plainfield, New Jersey, who will pursue a master of science in counselor education at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Ashley Brady, an early childhood education major from Pittsburgh (15227), who will pursue a master of education in K-8 mathematics and science at Slippery Rock University. 

  • Elliot Campbell, a psychology major from McKeesport, who will pursue a master of social work at Washington University – Saint Louis. 

  • Andrew Conley, a theology major from Grove City, who will pursue a master of arts in theology at the Byzantine Catholic Seminary of SS. Cyril and Methodius. 

  • Paige Dawson, a psychology major from Waynesboro, who will pursue a master of science in criminology at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Michael Doelling, a history major from Latrobe, who will pursue a master of arts in history at Marquette University. 

  • Ryan Farrell, a philosophy major from Rochester, New York, who will attend Kent State University to pursue a master of science in philosophy. 

  • Bridget Fertal (2019 Saint Vincent graduate), an English major from Lititz, who will pursue a master of fine arts at Brooklyn College. 

  • Leah Fertal, an early childhood education major from Bethel Park, who will attend Saint Vincent College to pursue a master of science in special education. 

  • Cara Geary, an English major from Acme, who will pursue a master of science in counselor education at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Jessica Hartner, an early childhood education major from North Huntingdon, who will pursue a master of science in special education at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Sarah Kalp, an early childhood education major from Greensburg, who will pursue a master of science in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Kristopher Kell, a sociology major from Apollo, who will attend Saint Vincent College to pursue a master of science in criminology. 

  • Nathaniel Kohl, a psychology major from Wilmington, Delaware, who will attend Duquesne University to pursue a master of science in mental health counseling. 

  • Madison Kollar, a sociology major from Latrobe, who has been accepted into the University of Pittsburgh’s master of social work program. 

  • Ashley Krause, a communication major from Uniontown, who will attend Chatham University to pursue a master of sustainability and master of business administration.   

  • Maria Loftis, an early childhood education major from Monongahela, who will pursue a master of education in reading literacy at Slippery Rock University. 

  • Molly Massimo, an early childhood education major from Johnstown, who will pursue a master of science in instructional design and technology at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Ryan McElhinney, a middle-grade education major from North Huntingdon, who will pursue a master of science in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College. 

  • Megan Miller, a psychology major from New Salem, who will pursue a master of science in applied developmental psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. 

  • Sarah O’Callaghan, an early childhood education major from Columbia, Maryland, who will attend Saint Vincent College to pursue a master of science in curriculum and instruction. 

  • Katherine Palko, a philosophy major from Indiana, Pennsylvania, who will attend Boston College to pursue a master of theological sciences. 

  • Johanna Phillips, an English major from Baden, who will pursue a master of fine arts in screenwriting at Point Park University to pursue a master of fine arts in screenwriting. 

  • Tia Quairiere, a psychology major from Connellsville, who will attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania to pursue a master of science in speech-language pathology. 

  • Jessica Ray-Marino, a psychology major from New Kensington, who will attend Penn State University to pursue a Ph.D. in school psychology. 

  • Aliyah Rhodes, a psychology major from Mather, who will attend California University of Pennsylvania to pursue a master of science in clinical mental health counseling. 

  • Rachel Seamans, a psychology major from New Castle, who will pursue a master of arts in psychology, with a concentration in forensics, at Carlow University. 

  • Nicolette Smith, an English major from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, who will pursue a master of science in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College 

  • Paul Weisser, a philosophy and politics major from Red Lion, will attend Baylor University to pursue a Ph.D. in politics. 

  • Arianne Winkleblech, a psychology major from Greensburg, who will attend Ithaca College to pursue a master of science in exercise and sport science, with a concentration in sport psychology.  

  • Robert Wynn, an English major from Cleves, Ohio, who will pursue a master of science in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College.  

  • Helena Zrile, an anthropology major from Mercer, who will attend Drexel University to pursue a master of public health degree.
