External In-Kind Facility Use

  1. Scope and Purpose
    Saint Vincent College understands there are groups that the College may choose to support or to provide facilities in-kind or with a discounted facility rental fee.
  2. Detailed Procedures
    All requests must be made using the Request to Waive or Discount Facility Fees for External Groups  by a Saint Vincent College employee who will serve as the sole contact/planner for the event or meeting, if approved.
    • In order for a group or individual to qualify for sponsorship, the group or individual must directly benefit the College and/or the activity of the group or individual must directly relate to the sponsoring department.
    • The sponsor or representative of the sponsoring department must be present for the entire duration of the function.
    • All sponsored functions must comply with the rules and regulations governing the College.
    • The organization holding the event must agree to reimburse the College for any damages or additional costs.
    • The organization holding the event must provide the required Limited Liability Insurance.
    • Any program or written materials connected with or advertising a sponsored event will indicate that the event is sponsored by Saint Vincent College.
    • All food must be catered by Parkhurst Dining Services per the External Catering Guide.
