Four Saint Vincent College degree programs ranked No. 1 in the state by College Raptor

LATROBE, PA – Four undergraduate degree programs at Saint Vincent College are rated the best in Pennsylvania for the 2024-2025 academic year, according to College Raptor, an online college planning tool.

Saint Vincent’s physics teacher education program is ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 5 nationally. Data science (bioinformatics) is ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 11 nationally. computational finance track within the finance program (finance major with a specialized math minor) is No. 1 in the state and No. 15 nationally. Theology is No. 1 in the state and No. 16 nationally.

It’s the second year in a row those four programs have received top ratings statewide.

Overall, Saint Vincent College is ranked among the top 10 colleges in Pennsylvania in 15 undergraduate degree programs and three graduate degree programs.

The other ranked undergraduate degree programs are philosophy (No. 2 in the state, No. 6 nationally); criminology, law and society (No. 3 in the state, No. 35 nationally); natural sciences (No. 3 in the state, No. 24 nationally); environmental science (No. 4 in the state, No. 77 nationally); digital arts and media (No. 5 in the state, No. 29 nationally); communication (No. 5 in the state, No. 102 nationally); engineering (No. 6 in the state, No. 36 nationally); public policy (No. 7 in the state, No. 55 nationally); art education (No. 8 in the state, No. 64 nationally); middle grade education (No. 9 in the state, No. 64 nationally); and business economics (No. 9 in the state, No. 90 nationally).

Ranked graduate degree programs are criminology (No. 2 in the state, No. 15 nationally); management: operational excellence (No. 2 in the state, No. 22 nationally); and counselor education (No. 3 in the state, No. 66 nationally).

Saint Vincent is ranked No. 27 among colleges in Pennsylvania and No. 318 in the United States.
