Fr. Justin Matro to speak at Saint Vincent Seminary as part of Benedictine spirituality series

LATROBE, PA – Fr. Justin Matro, O.S.B., S’89, will discuss the Liturgy of the Hours at 3 p.m. Aug. 18 in room 202 of the John and Annette Brownfield Center on the Saint Vincent College campus. Fr. Justin’s discussion is part of a series of monthly presentations about Benedictine spirituality.

Fr. Justin is pastor of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Crabtree and a member of the faculty of Saint Vincent Seminary. His presentation will last about 75 minutes and attendees are welcome to attend Vespers at 5 p.m. in the Archabbey Basilica.

Also, local Oblates of Saint Benedict affiliated with Saint Vincent Archabbey will discuss the book “Study Guide for the Rule of St. Benedict” by Abbess Emerita Maria-Thomas Bell, O.S.B. at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 18 in room 202 of the Brownfield Center. The book discussion is open to all, and supper will be available at 5:35 p.m. in the Eichstätt Dining Room.
