Saint Vincent College’s nursing program awarded ‘most valuable’ national ranking

LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College’s nursing program is ranked No. 19 in the Northeast and No. 157 in the United States in the 2024 “most valuable programs” ratings by Research.com, a leading platform for university degree rankings and academic program evaluations.

Also, Saint Vincent’s health sciences program is ranked No. 21 in the Northeast and No. 185 nationally.

“We are extremely proud of the recognition our nursing and health sciences programs have received from Research.com. These rankings reflect the dedication and hard work of our faculty, staff and students,” said Dr. Helen Burns, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, the Rev. Owen Roth, O.S.B., Inaugural Chair of the Department of Nursing. “At Saint Vincent, we are committed to providing top-tier education and training that prepares our students to excel in their careers and make meaningful contributions to the healthcare field today and into the future.”

Overall, Saint Vincent College is ranked No. 29 in Pennsylvania, No. 150 in the Northeast and No. 519 in the United States. Research.com ranks Saint Vincent at No. 57 among “best value colleges” in the state.

The 2024 rankings by Research.com were developed through an in-depth analysis of dozens of data points collected from sources such as Peterson, the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College ScoreCard. These rankings cover a wide array of degree types and regions, focusing on crucial factors like overall quality, affordability, popularity and the time required to complete a degree.
