Strong turnout for Phineas Gage concert in Latrobe

LATROBE, PA – About 100 people turned out for the free Phineas Gage concert Aug. 17 at Legion Keener Park in Latrobe.

Phineas Gage is rock tribute band comprised of drummer Ron Weaver and Saint Vincent College faculty Dr. Eric Mohr, assistant professor of philosophy in the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS); Dr. Michael Rhodes, associate professor of biology in the Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing; and Dr. Mark Rivardo, professor of psychological science in AHSS.

The show was a production of the Be My Neighbor Committee, which includes officials from Saint Vincent College, the city of Latrobe, the Greater Latrobe School District, Independence Health, the Latrobe Community Revitalization Program and the Latrobe Foundation.
