Saint Vincent College to host forum about election process and ballot security

LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College will host a community conversation about the election process and the importance of election integrity at 6 p.m. Sept. 3 in the Fred M. Rogers Center on campus.

The event is free and open to the public. It will be held in cooperation with the Westmoreland Bar Association and Keep Our Republic, a nonpartisan civic education organization.

The discussion panel will be chaired by Dr. Jason Jividen, associate professor of political science in the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government and co-director of the Center for Political and Economic Thought at Saint Vincent College.

Panelists will be Tom Corbett, former governor of Pennsylvania and former state attorney general; Bob Cindrich, former United States district judge; Rob Beecher, deputy policy director, Pennsylvania Department of State; and Ted Kopas, Westmoreland County commissioner.
